Opening browser to FCC site with l_amat.zip file takes only just over a minute. Mike Collins

It is a separate program from LOGic that runs in the background (you can start it and exit LOGic if you want), and I haven't really watched it. I just start it and it finishes eventually. It is slow downloading. Not sure why. If you're really in a rush you can download it using a browser, then process it. However, it is going to take a lot longer to process than download. Anyway, at what point does it stop? Is it still downloading (displaying the number of KB downloaded), or while processing? Let me know. Tnx & 73, Dennis WN4AZY

I had to change file download location in default and that took care of the problem. Also had not downloaded for 6 months and did it just now in sept. The download would stop at about 7mg. All Is good now and downloads quickly 73's Larry
