For the ARRL 10M contest- when I try to export, I get a message that says: "getuserfield.prg does not exist". Thus, I can not input my state. When clicking ignore, the program shuts down and I have to start over with a clean, etc. I can use some help with this Cabrillo export question. And maybe the use of Cabrillo in general with any contest.

Thanks, Ron/W7GTF

Hi Ron:

Sorry, there is an error in the log form setup.

You can either install the one attached (it goes in logdata\logforms), or fix yours.

Open the ARRL 10 Meter log form. In the log window, click LOG/SETUP. Click the CONTEST tab then the CABRILLO tab. In
RX EXCHANGE EXPRESSION 1 you will see

IIF(GETUSERTIELD("DC...

Change GETUSERTIELD to GETUSERFIELD.

Tnx & 73,

Dennis,

Thanks, but how do I actually put a file from you somewhere in the program? How do I get to logdata\logforms and then attach a file?

Hi Ron,

One downloads the file at the bottom of the message, saving it to the indicated folder.

Unfortunately, the actual process can be a little different, depending on which web browser, and which version, you personally are using. All are "similar", and straight forward, once you have done it at least once. The process is similar to "saving a file" in any Windows program.

For IE and Firefox ...

Point at the file name at the bottom of the message, right click the file and left click on "Save Link as..." or "Save Target as ...", and navigate your way to the sub folder logdata\logforms within the installation folder for LOGic.

You can find the installation folder in LOGic with Tools, Advanced, Path and File Info.

Path and File Info

The installation folder can be seen as the common part of that listed. In my case ...

C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86\LOGIC

... so the Log form folder would be ...

C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86\LOGIC\LOGDATA\LOGFORMS

When you save the file, you will be asked to "over write" the old version of that file.

You can help by posting images of any errors and including your Logic version.
