Well I do Have a problem.
I am trying to print a QSL card where the mode is QPSK125 but what ever I do I do onely get QPSK12 in the mode field that is 6 characters not 7 as it sould be.
I have tried everything I can think of and some more but do always get 6 characters not 7.
Can anyone help my with this problem please.

Hi Billi,
You can see in Setup/Log Fields, spotting .../Field info/MODE that you cannot change the field lenght because is gray. It's setting and locked to 6 digits.
In your database the value QPSK125 is recordered right, 7 digits, but the limit is in locked field lenght.
In fact, if you want to search for all qso's made in QPSK125 You have to put only the 6 digits search value QPSK12, otherwise the filter responds that you have no QPSK125 qso's.
I think the only way is to ask for Dennis to make dynamic the MODE value.

Well this is not good enough. I you do have a Mode with 7 characters you would have 7 characters to appare on the QSL card not 6.
I think Dennis has to take a look at this and do some changes.

Hi Billi,
I think there are no problems for Dennis to make dynamic the MODE field.
One solution would be to find an abbreviated form to fit within the six caracters, but QPSK123 has not abbreviation as HELL, for example.
I do not know what else to tell you, the rest is up to Dennis if its possible this change or the program needs only 6 caracters for reason of spaces in the QSO's record.
We just have to wait for the Dennis response.

Well lets see what will happen. Dennis is usually very good in changing things. One more letter in the database cant be that bad to day when you do have terabites of storage on yor home computer.
It was a bit different whe I started using Logic and if a remember correctly my hdd was 80 megaibites but that was a long time ago and Logic was in dos in those days.
