I have just spent a weekend collating my QSL cards. I entered most of my Russian cards and ran "Update Awards Progress".

I have lots of rejects for Oblasts, and Russian Districts.

For the districts I am using the list from www.rdaward.org at List of Russian Districts as posted here dated 2012. Either lots of Russians do not know where they live, or Russian districts change more often than I expect. Can anyone add some light to the list of Russian Districts?

I am using the original OBL - Russian Oblast list that came with logic. I have searched the Internet and found lots of lists, some dated 2001 and 2003 - most are not dated at all. The reference link at www.dxawards.com is broken.

Does anyone have a current reference for the latest list of Russian oblast codes for DX purposes? Apart rom WikiPedia, can any one help with a potted history of Russian Oblasts for DX purposes - are they as "fixed" as the States of the USA - or do they come and go with the politics of Russia?
