Rank: Newbie Groups: Registered Posts: 2 Location: Huntsville, AL		I need to change a large selection of contacts , that are now under my current call sign in the "OPERATOR" user field, to my former call sign in the "OPERATOR" field. I had to do something similar years ago and at that time there was a small program in Logic that helped you do that, but now I can't seem to find that section of Logic. Any help would be appreciated.... Not much hair left after pulling most of it out! 73, K4 Sweet Home Alabama

Go to tools/advanced/database commands. Open the log file. There is an open icon on the toolbar on the bottom, but you can just type USE LOG Now, click DATABASE FILES/MASS CHANGE/REPLACE FIELD CONTENTS. Select OPERATOR for "Replace this field" Enter your call in quotes for your "with" value. Click the button to the right of "Replace only with" and fill out the form with dates or operator value that defines the records you want to change. There are preview and count options to verify your expression. Click the help button on the toolbar on the bottom -- there is an example of doing almost exactly what you want.
