Some logging programs provide the feature of sending command sequences (macros) to various tranceivers, such as the K3. I believe a few other modern rigs also have this feature. This would allow for multiple functions to be controlled by the press of one button. Macros can be programmed already in the K3, but the number is limited by quantity of programmable function keys (2) and the quantity of stored CW messages and in the DVK. I would like to see LOGic have the capability of sending command sequences (macros) to the tranciever in the near future.
