This may not be possible but is there any way to add an elapsed time to the scoring window ?? Some contests, depending on category, have a time limit and it would be nice to be able to have that timer visible to know how many hours you have left in the tank. This last CQ WPX Contest had a time limit of 36 hours out of the 48 hour total, so basically 12 hours of no QSO's being logged, of the 12 hours any period of an hour minimum counts towards the 12. If the scoring window could show calculated time remaining that would be a nice feature !! Maybe the contest set-up screen in the logform could include fields to enter the Contest Duration and Max Operating Time Allowed in hours, or even just the Max Allowed Operating Time as the Contest duration could be calculated from the contest end date. Also a toggle to not have the time calculated.

Thanks for any consideration,

Brad, N8GLS

I will add.....a button to "log off(stops the timer)/log on(restarts the timer)" for those contests that don't allow you to operate the whole thing.

I remember that you can log *ON and *OFF in the callsign fields to indicate your elapsed time. How that is displayed, I do not recall. A report most probably. Nothing real-time. Will research that and consider your suggestion.

Tnx & 73,

Thanks,

Don't spend too much time on this !! Just thought it nice to have real time displayed when working those kind of contests, even if only an hour timer, don't need a clock with seconds...hi hi

Thanks for looking as always !!
