Dennis,

See this link regarding MMTTY, etc. http://forums.qrz.com/sh...MTTY-MMVARI-and-MMSSTV. This may help.

Following reprinted from qrz.com:
Mako JE3HHT, the author of MMTTY, MMVARI, and MMSSTV, has released these applications to open source development under the LGPL license. This license enables developers and companies to use and integrate MMTTY, MMSSTV, and MMVARI, while ensuring that all improvements to source code are made publicly available.

The MM-Open organization has been established to encourage and facilitate open source development. Anyone may create public or private branches of these applications. A set of Committers will maintain a master branch for each application; the initial Committers are Bob N4HY, Eric KE5DTO, Oba JA7UDE, and Steve N5AC. Packaged versions of MMTTY, MMVARI, and MMSSTV assembled from the master branches will continue to be available via web pages administered by Ken VE5KC:

Source code for these applications is available via GitHub, courtesy of FlexRadio.

Existing Yahoo Groups will continue to be used to convey defect reports and enhancement requests.

Thank you Allen for the excellent update. What a great program MMTTY is and if we could get incorporated with LOGIC it would make LOGIC one of the best logging programs available anywhere. Come on Dennis, Please!

Dennis,

Another option is to incorporate 2-tone into LOGic. You can download it here: http://rttycontesting.co...ownloads/downloads.html .

Please let us know if you might consider this or MMTTY.

Thanks,

Considering the options at this point. Will do something.

Does anyone have any comments on FLDigi? It is open-source.

Hello Dennis
first good year.
About the program MTTY is truly exceptional, you could use the engine 1.64 and get a good result for the RTTY users.
Hamscope works in general, has many macros and has several modes of emission than MTTY but often crashes when you log the QSO in logic.
Very interesting to have, in logic, a multi-mode software.
MixW is a very expensive software and the choice of fldigi could satisfy the majority of Logic users. I believe that fldigi can be perfectly interfaced with logic.
So having a software that allows you to make QSOs in digital modes and up to date as free open souce is desirable.
I currently use MTTY for RTTY and using Airlink Express for PSK31-64-125 and insert, during the QSO, all the data manually.
A bit cumbersome, but it always works. I hope the next Logic release will help us to make digital modes with ease without using too many different software.
These are my experiences and my idea.
Thanks Dennis for Your attention.

Hi Dennis,

This is another request for MMTTY to be incorporated into Logic. I joined the
MMTTY reflector and asked how to copy & paste a call from the MMTTY screen
and the answer came back:

"If you use either DXLab or N1MM Logger, both of which use MMTTY,
double-clicking on the call puts it directly into the log. No copy and
paste needed."

{Edit: - I was also just now informed by others on that reflector that
DX4Win & Writrelog interface to MMTTY.}

I'd like to be able to do that with Logic, just like clicking on a spot in the spot log.
Please add this to the to-do list.

Thanks!

Gary

Dennis,

I too, recommend that you incorporate MTTY with Logic. This will greatly enhance the value of an already excellent program!

Dennis, we are still waiting to hear if you will incorporate MMTTY into LOGic . We've been asking for a year now.

FLDigi would be nice, too, but MMTTY is the preferred RTTY program these days.

C'mon... what's it gonna take?

Hi Dennis,

Another reminder that you have alot of paid customers watching and waiting for MMTTY support by LOGic.

Can you let us know what the status is, please?

Hi--

I don't announce timelines for anything anymore. Made that mistake too many times already hihi.

But the status is that it is moving up the list. There are some other simpler things ahead of it.

We plan to do both FLDIGI & MMTTY, just deciding which would be best to do first. Am checking out two-tone too.

Dennis
