I have never been able to get the LOGic 9 program working properly. The last update I have been able to load is .47 I am using Windows 8 I get the following message when trying to update:
C:\Program Files (x86)LOGic\assembly\PDA.ComPort.dll An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file: Delete File failed; code 5 Access is denied. Click Retry to try again, Idnore to skip this file (not recommended), or Abort to cancel installation.
Any solution for me to update the program and finally get it to work properly? Thanks, Wendell

Hi Wendell:
It sounds like LOGic may be still running. Try rebooting just before doung the install.
You can also try manually deleting the contents of c:\program files (x86)\logic\assembly before installing the update.
Also, make sure you have administrator priviliges. Also, turn off User Account Control (type UAC in the Windows search box).
Let me know.

OK Dennis, I did get the .50 upgrade by following your instructions. I was wondering if a program I use on a net I check into quite often could be causing a conflict with LOGic 9? It is called Netlogger. Also if I open the DX Summit web site while LOGic 9 is running, could it possible interfere with the program working properly. Thanks for you help. Wendell

Not likely that NetLogger is a problem. That DLL that the LOGic update couldn't overwrite is written by us and used only by LOGic.
Opening DX Summit in your browser while in LOGic shouldn't be a problem either.
