Just downloaded version .80. It crashes on startup just after it re-indexes the prefix table.

I have the latest .NET framework.

Windows 8.1

KF4BQ and KM4KKU also have crash after .80 update.

on index rebuild:
Entity Framework DB Access Err
underlying provider fail on open
VFPOLEDB provider is not registered on the local machine.

Then:

Sorry, still crashing on start up.

Question - I unchecked the option to re-install the prefix table since I have a lot of prefixes that I add on my own. Is that the problem?

Crashing here, too. Have done everything you've directed so far. Logic just stops working part way through the startup process. Running on Win 7 (64)

Dennis,

I installed the "new" v80. Worked ok once when first installed but after shutting program down, would stop working on restart. Back on v79 after system restore.
