For about the past week i get a "upload failed" message from Logic when sending qso's to LOTW. The QSO's are being accepted and processed by LOTW but the failed message doesn't allow the log to be properly marked.

I know LOTW had a DOS attack last weekend, did they change something that is causing this to happen?

With the CQWW just around the corner it would be nice to have this resolved.

Any ideas?

Hi Dennis,
I found out about the LoTW upload fix only after I uploaded my 400+ CQ WW QSO’s, resulting in having this many LoTW boxes unchecked in LOGic9 database. How can I check them in bulk, as opposed to having to mouse-click 400+ times? There's got to be a FoxPro command for that, but I don’t know it.
Regards,

Hi--

These commands in tools/advanced/database commands will do it:

USE LOG

REPLACE ALL LOTW_SENT WITH .T.

You could just upload them again too.

Thanks, Dennis!
It worked very well.
I don't need to upload again: it uploaded fine the first time, only the LoTW boxes were not checked.

Hi Dennis
My good friend, OZ4FF, still uses his LOGic8, and is very satisfied with it, but since a week ago he is having a failure, when he tries to upload his QSO's to LoTW. It logs in all right, but short after the yellow screen it tells: "Upload failed".
Is this the end of his LOGic8, or is there another explanation? And solution?
He has no problems to download QSLs from LoTW - it works all right.
I am asking for him, since he has trouble with his eyes, and no longer can read the screen very well.

Hi--

He can do this: LOGic 8 is actually uploading, it just doesn't KNOW that the upload was successful, and therefore does not update LOTW SENT.

So go to tools/advanced/database commands. Type:

USE LOG
REPLACE ALL LOTW_SENT WITH .T.

Hi Dennis
Thank you so much for your quick answer.
I will visit him tomorrow, and fix it for him!
Best 73 - and thank again!
